eFocusgroups eFocusgroups are the 21st century way of doing qualitative research. Now you can gather valuable information on your customer base or your marketplace without inconveniencing your customers. In fact they'll love it.

Marketing research without the pain.

The benefits of a virtual venue to your customers and to you eFocusgroups lets your customers contribute their views at a time that suits them. Normally a focus group needs a skilled facilitator - an experienced consultant, a smart venue and audio and video-taping facilities. This is expensive and your customers need to give up valuable time to attend. eFocusgroups remove many of those issues. Customers only need to be able to get online because the venue is their inbox.
The process is tried and tested Stage 1 - The Brief:
This can be taken with a face to face meeting or an online briefing form can be used. At this stage the intended outcomes of the research are agreed.

Stage 2 - Member Recruitment:
12 contributors is ideal. All we need is a list of about 20 email addresses from you to recruit them.

Stage 3 - Generating Issues:
The moderator's task is to draw out the issues bearing in mind your brief. This stage usually lasts one week.

Stage 4 - Collation:
The moderator formulates the issues into a series of questions. The admin console speeds this process and allows the questions to be embedded within a web page.

Stage 5 - Questionnaire:
All group members are made aware of the web questionnaire and asked to complete it online.

Stage 6 - Analysis and Reporting:
eFocusgroups' admin system automatically captures and analyses of the results. The moderator then pulls this information into a report that includes a commentary.

You can try, but you are likely to be disappointed.
What are the costs? Any focus group brings its own set of demands and will be priced appropriately. eFocusgroups are competitive with traditional focus groups in terms of moderation costs but can make significant savings in expenses for travelling etc. Typical costs vary from £350 GBP (US$661.50) to £3,000 GBP (US$5,670) for the full 6-stage process described above.
Start your inbox marketing If you’re interested and want to take it further, let us know and we will start talking.
Is this restricted to work by email? Not any more. We have now developed a version which allows a group to respond to issues via their browser. Secure access to a website for that group allows each member to post contributions and read other responses. The convenience of the inbox is sacrificed for the 'benefit' of receiving fewer emails.
